3 Internet – Neccessary Mobile Broadband Secret all your family should know

3 Internet - Necessary fact that could save you well over £6000.

3 Internet and Mobile Internet are taking over – everyone is getting it but most consumers don’t know the small print that could cost them £6000. I’ll quickly explain what 3 Internet is and then tell you what I’ve learnt.

Mobile Internet is getting land-line quality broadband internet wherever there is a mobile phone signal. All the major networks offer it, and millions use it everyday. Increasingly we need to be online and mobile broadband provides the solution many are looking for, and thousands have purchased.

This is done through a Dongle – a small plastic stick that sticks in the side of your PC. They used to be expensive but now you can get them for free… see below.

Laptop Broadband is another name for essentially the same thing. The difference is that now the Networks (Vodafone, 3, O2, etc) are getting so competitive, they are all offering free laptops with their Mobile Internet packages. There are no cash-back vouchers to claim back and you get to keep the laptop for good – these are a great deal, but some are better than others.

Please be aware of the 3 points below!

1. Beware! Every Mobile Internet package has a data allowance – usually between 1 and 15GB per month. If you go over, you get charged but here’s the kicker no one knows about. If you use it outside the European Union you get charged 6 per MB so that’s £6000 for one GB of data! You can do a GB in a day! If you were to go New York for a long weekend you could come home to a £24,000 phone bill. These prices are with 3, and they are the second cheapest for abroad usage costs…

2. I went with 3 Internet as they were the cheapest and best value. However, don’t do what I did and get the 15GB for 15 deal.

Why? Because you can get 15 GB/m plus a free laptop for just 2.50 per month more! And with 3 laptop broadband it’s not a rubbish laptop, it’s a brand new 400 in PC World laptop. Anyway don’t get a normal mobile internet deal, get one with a free laptop. You might even save money by replacing your land line and home internet deal for mobile internet so you can save money and have the web with you wherever you go, plus a new, faster laptop.

My conclusion is you should definitely get a free laptop with your mobile internet deal, and as 3 won the awards for best value, best free laptop package and best overall, it’s becoming clearer who to choose as your mobile broadband supplier – with or without a free laptop.

Vodafone offer the fastest 7.2Mb/s speed mobile broadband, and all the other networks offer 3.6Mb/s but as these are theoretical speeds, I’m happy with my choice of 3 Internet .

Personally I think there will be a big drop in the value of the Pound soon so I’m getting my imported electronics while my Pounds still buy something decent. 3 Internet stock comes and goes pretty quickly.

The laptops on offer change all the time. Right now there are incredible laptop offers. Because of the UK’s massive debt I believe the Pound will drop massively in value soon and will buy a lot less laptop for your money, so lock in these 3 Internet deals while you can get them.
