Question by Dave: I see it is possible to trace an ip address to a physical address, but is it possible with mobile broadband?
tracing an IP is easy as it traces down the phone line for the connected computer, right?
I traced my own IP address and it came back with some information, to a location where im not!
Is mobile broadband not possible to fully trace, or could someone who’s experienced with this get just as much information? or more?

Umm… you’re a little confused on how IP tracing works. You see, you pay for internet service. When you’re on the internet, your ISP logs your IP address and the times you were online. Now, if something happens, the authorities can see which ISP owns that IP address and ask them for their logs to identify you.
